As we try to expand opportunities for these individuals, however, we can be drawn very thin by the need to make them happen. Below is a “Volunteer Wish List” for the 2018-2019 school year. I humbly and prayerfully ask you to consider stepping up to help us! God bless you all for the support you have always given our youth and youth programs in so many ways!
Parents/Young Adults for general needs
We are in need of parents and young adults who are willing to come participate and help out when they can. This can include baking and preparing snacks, helping to set up or tear down, or chaperoning events (must be Virtus trained to chaperone).
Small Group Leaders
We need people who can be present and participate in small group discussion with the high school students, to listen and ask thoughtful questions more than talking/teaching. You will also need to be willing to pray with the students.
There are a couple of evenings that we will need the help of parent drivers, if you’re interested in helping with this please contact John Kawalski and let him know your willingness. A date to keep in mind is Wednesday October 17th.
We are always in need of adults/young adults/parents to get involved and help out with youth group. If you would like to help out in any way please get in touch with John or the parish office and we’ll set up a meeting.
